In A Perfect World

With the awakening of social media, came the ability for people to post their opinions on an innumerable amount of subjects.  I must admit, I have become a comment reader.  If there is something that catches my attention and I think it may be of interest to me, I will always read the comment section first, to check out the pros and cons.

It never ceases to amaze me how a topic as simple as a recipe can turn the comment section into a political, religious battlefield.  When this happens, all common decency flies out the window.  It becomes a no-holds-barred game plan with the objective to see who can post the rudest, nastiest and most hateful comment.  I often wonder if the people doing this would actually say these things in a face to face situation.

Sometimes I just have to quit reading because it bothers me.  I just do not understand why it is necessary to become angry instead of agreeing to disagree....and then go on your merry way.   At times like this, I realize that we are far from living in a perfect world.  We may have made strides in technology, but we seem to be in caveman mode when it comes to getting along.

It seems that in a perfect world, people would look out for one another.  There would be no need to feel like a particular model of transportation would make one better or above others.  The same could be said of clothing, in a perfect world, no one would care what was in style or not.  Having hair, no hair, purple hair, long hair, short hair, crazy hair, would no longer be an issue.  This would also apply to tattoos.

No one would wish the Angel of Karma on anyone because they would realize that doing so brings Karma into their lives too.  Health care would be abundant, or perhaps no longer needed.  If there is nothing to cause stress, there would be few, if any, diseases.
There would no longer be anyone suffering from being hungry and everyone would share their abundance.

In a perfect world, there would be no religions pointing fingers, condemning others to live in fear, no religious wars or differing of opinions on the subject.  We would all understand that we are in this together and without the togetherness, we would fall.

There would be no need of money.  Without money, there would be no need to want for anything, it would already be available.  Want would be a thing of the past and have would take its place.

Think about that for a moment.  No money would mean no utility bills to pay.  The energy to keep us out of the dark, warm or cool, depending on the need, would be readily available to all.  Nikola Tesla had that vision....and a way to accomplish it.  There would be no need for insurance, or lawsuits, or lawyers.

In a perfect world, there would be no need to have any adversaries or arbitrators.  People would look out for each other.  If there was something that needed disputed, it would be done not only a timely manner, but in such a way that everyone was satisfied with the outcome.  If someone were to unintentionally harm another, they would feel responsible and do everything in their power to make it right and the people would come together for the good of all parties involved.

In a perfect world, peace would prevail and love would envelope the planet.
